What to expect
Worship
What to wear
Please wear what makes you comfortable. You’ll find some of us in jeans, others in suit and tie. Business casual is the average.
Order of worship
Our service follows a dialogical pattern – a conversation with God – that draws us into God’s presence through confession, forgiveness, the preaching of the Word, and thanksgiving.
Music
We love to sing! We use the Trinity Psalter Hymnal. Our accompaniment is piano and in special moments we may sing a cappella.
Bibles
You are welcome to bring your Bible with you, whether paper or electronic. We also have Bibles (ESV) in every pew.
Communion
Participation
The Lord’s Table is open to those who profess faith in Christ and are members in good standing of a Bible-believing church. If you have questions about participating, please speak to an elder or the pastor prior to the service. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper each week in the morning service and on the fourth Sunday of the month in evening service.
Elements
We offer both wine and grape juice, and have gluten-free bread available.
Children
In worship
We always welcome little ones in our worship services and encourage families to sit together.
Cry room
For nursing mothers, there is a cry room at the back of the sanctuary. The service audio is streamed to the cry room.
Nursery
If you would like a quiet place for children, there is a nursery in the upstairs of the education building. The service video is streamed to the nursery.
Accommodations
Access
Walkers and wheelchairs
From the front of the building to the sanctuary, the building has walker- and wheelchair-friendly access alternatives.
Elevator
An elevator is available to access the sanctuary (upper level), entryway (main level) and fellowship hall (lower level).
Restroom
A walker- and wheelchair-accessible restroom is available on the lower level.
Hearing
Assisted listening devices
Assisted listening devices are available at the back of the sanctuary.
We offer the following options:
- an earpiece
- on-ear or over-ear headphones
- a LOOP lanyard (requires a compatible hearing aid)
Check with the volunteer at the sound system desk at the back of the sanctuary if you need help finding or using the devices.
Services on Zoom
While we believe it’s important to be together as we gather for worship, we understand that circumstances can make it difficult to worship in person, so our services are streamed via Zoom. Contact an elder at the church to get the updated Zoom links for morning and evening worship.
